How they work:

Using a reliable combination of indoor and outdoor coils, heat pumps transfer heat into and out of your home. In the winter, the outdoor coil draws heat from outside air and transfers it into your home. As the seasons change, Carrier's reversing valve reliably reverses operation so the heat pump draws heat from inside your home to keep you cool during the summer months.
